The Kuala Lumpur Branch of Association of Indonesian Geologists (IAGI), Himpunan Ahli Geofisika Indonesia (HAGI) and Indonesian Sedimentologist Forum (FOSI) are organizing a field trip to Langkawi Island. This field trip was also supported by the Geological Society of Malaysia.
The field trip will take place on Thursday to Sunday from the 30th of January to the 2nd of February, 2020. The trip is aimed to investigate and learn about Pre-Tertiary Play analogue in the island. The instructors for this field trip are Herman Darman and Maradona Mansyur, both of IAGI-FOSI.
The field trip will cost MYR 2,000 per person (to cover logistics, meal and accommodation costs during the trip). Number of participants are limited to 25 persons only. If you’re interested to take part, please contact Mr. Fendi Yusuf to register yourself as soon as possible.
